Here to Assist Local Workforce

  • Here to Assist Local Workforce

What is Here to Assist Local Workforce?

In partnership with Ohio’s Bureau of Workers’ Compensation, Montgomery County’s Alcohol, Drug Addiction & Mental Health Services (ADAMHS) offers the Substance Use Recovery and Workplace Safety program to counter the effects of unemployment due to substance use on the local workforce. The program provides direct resources to local employers that hire, manage and retain workers in recovery from addiction. Montgomery County ADAMHS provides: reimbursement for pre-employment, random and reasonable suspicion drug testing; training for managers/supervisors; and a forum for employers to share success stories, learn from each other and encourage others to hire workers in recovery.
